Ania moved to Chicago in 2009 and graduated from Tricoci University of Beauty Culture in 2014. After becoming a cosmetologist Ania discovered that her true passion is in men’s grooming. Ania worked in a men’s salon for 3 years and was chosen to be one of 8 top stylists from Illinois, Michigan and Eastern Missouri for the company Ania worked for. Ania enjoys doing short faded haircut as well as textured gentlemen’s cuts. In her free time Ania loves spending time with her family and taking walks with her Pomeranian named Leo.

Brielle
Brielle graduated from a small privately operated cosmetology school in her hometown. Being such a small school, it offered her close knit training and high quality mentorship. She has always been very creative and had an eye for art so hairstyling really intrigued her more than a classroom. She specializes in clipper fades, beard-trims, and long scissors cuts. While not at work, she loves spending time outdoors and hanging with family and friends.

Cassie
Cassie moved from Michigan to Chicago in 2005 after finishing college at Western Michigan University where she studied art education. Shortly after her arrival in Chicago Cassie began her career in the beauty industry. She managed a top salon in Chicago for many years before switching her focus to esthetics. She spent 3 years working in a med spa before returning to the management side of the industry and joining VBgents.
When she’s not running the show at the salon Cassie enjoys spending her free time being outdoors, spending time with her dog River, live music and everything baking. If you’ve been in the salon during the holiday’s you may have had one of her treats.
BarberJose Luis
In 2005, Jose Luis graduated from the Academy of Barbering Arts in Chatsworth, CA while he was a resident of Los Angeles. Shortly after receiving his license, Jose Luis started and ran his own successful barber shop for many years before moving to Chicago. From our beginning, Jose Luis has been Van Buren Gentlemen's Salon resident master barber, specializing in hot lather, straight razor shaves and cutting all types of hair.
StylistMarina
Marina graduated from Paul Mitchell the school Chicago in 2012. Marina is well versed in both clipper work and classic Gentlemen’s cuts. Marina believes in continual education and strives to stay at the forefront of her field with her knowledge of new products and services available in order to provide excellent service to her clientele. While not at work, Marina loves to spend time with her nieces, nephews, and family.
StylistSandra
Sandra was born and raised in the City of Chicago and is seriously passionate about men's styling. Sandra has been cutting men's only exclusively for the past 15 years. Sandra has been trained by some of the industries top stylists and barbers. Sandra specializes in classic clipper cuts, tight fades and beard trims.. While not at work, Sandra is quite the foodie and sushi connoisseur.

Yolanta, aka Yola, is born and raised in Chicago. At a very young age, Yola determined that hair was her passion. So while in high school, she took part in a special program that allowed her to take Cosmetology classes while still in school. Yola then went on to perfect her craft of men's styling and grooming at some of the top men's salon's in the Chicago-land area. Yola has been doing men's cutting and styling for the last 15 years and has been trained with some of the industries best. Yola loves classic clipper cuts, but doesn't shy away from a challenge and loves transformation cuts. While not at work, Yola loves spending time with her French bulldog, Sully.

Yanna
Yanna has been in the beauty industry for 25+ years. She started her career in Bulgaria and has traveled to many countries including Greece advancing her skills. In 2005 she moved to the United States where she narrowed her focus on doing exclusively men’s hair. She has been featured in many Chicago magazines showcasing her exceptional skills. Yanna stays updated with the latest trends and techniques to ensure each service is tailored to perfection. She believes that a great haircut isn’t just about aesthetics, it’s about making you feel your best. Her warm personality and advanced skill level has built the long lasting bonds she has with her clients.
While not at the salon Yanna enjoys baking, traveling and spending time with her family and puppy.

Natalija
Natalija graduated from French Cosmetology School in Lithuania in 2005. Watching her grandfather cut hair inspired her career path. Since moving to Chicago from Lithuania, Natalija worked at some of Chicago’s top salons and has also worked with VBGS’s owner, Deanna, at a previous men’s salon where they quickly became friends over their passion for exclusive men’s styling. After taking a few years off from the grooming industry to work in the transportation industry ( Booking over 6300 loads!!). Natalija is back to her true passion, creating flawless haircuts and styles for Chicago’s gentlemen.
In her free time Natalija enjoys being outdoors kayaking, fishing and snowboarding with her family.
